NEW 64" WIDE-BAND MACROWAVE™ POST BAKING DRYER
DEVELOPED FOR HIGH VOLUME COOKIE PRODUCTION

Macrowave™ RF (radio frequency) post-baking dryers remove the drying burden from ovens, increasing throughput and allows bakers to control the color of crackers and cookies, independent of moisture considerations. These dryers are available from Radio Frequency Co., Inc. of Millis, Massachusetts.

7000 series dryer

RF Post-Baking Dryers eliminate the drying burden from an oven, allowing increases in band speeds of 30% or better and providing control over moisture uniformity throughout the entire thickness of a baked good. Ideal for crackers and cookies, these dryers preferentially heat and dry the moist areas and eliminate checking caused by differential shrinkage.

Permitting bakers to run conventional ovens at the maximum speed that a product can be produced with the correct loft, crumb structure, and color, without regard to moisture content, Macrowave™ RF Post-Baking Dryers will quickly and efficiently remove the residual moisture trapped within the product's center. Systems are available in bandwidths from 36" to 64" W.

Macrowave™ RF Post-Baking Dryers are priced from $200,000 up, depending upon the configuration. Literature is available upon request.
